Dr. Preti Silvia graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics with Latin Honours from the University of Torino in 1987. She attended the periodontology department directed by  Prof. Bazzano from 1988-1989 with a particular interest in mucogingival surgery in children and adolescents. She also specialized in dentofacial orthopaedics in Torino under Prof. P. Bracco in 1991.

From 1992 until today, she has frequented the prostheses department of the University of Torino for the treatment of pre-implant orthodontics in adult patients. Over the years she has participated in numerous courses in orthodontics and paediatric dentistry.

Conservative therapy in children (paediatric dentistry) is carried out on small or non-collaborative children as necessary (due to fear, anxiety, etc.) with the use of conscious sedation or scented masks (nitrous oxide), a safe technique that makes dental therapy "tolerable” even if not pleasant.

Interceptive orthodontics is applied in cases of worsening malocclusions in very small children (for example: cross bite) while orthodontics is used in adolescents/adults with traditional fixed, aesthetic, and self-ligating braces, cutting-edge braces for quicker treatments and serious crowding.

Dr. Silvia Preti is certified for orthodontics treatment with the INVISALIGN technique (invisible orthodontics), which is excellent in the treatment of slight crowding (INVISALIGN EXPRESS: 5 months) and for the treatment of malocclusions in both adults and adolescents (INVISALIGN TEEN).

Dr. Preti is also expert in aesthetic dental treatments; whitening treatments with the use of lasers (DOC MEDICA diode lasers) are carried out in the office.
